Back in early spring, I launched my Ultimate Guide to Plus-Size Swimwear Shopping. And now I have to update it, because, things are just HAPPENING in all things plus-size swimwear right now. Two major brands just launched their first ever swim collections and both Ashley Graham and Gabby Greg of GabiFresh launched 2 collections each with Swimsuits for All.
Gone are the frumpy swim dresses and solid black, boring one-piece suits. Everything I am seeing is bright patterns, bold designs, interesting details and a whole lot of va-va-voom. I know we have a long ways to go towards achieving real size-inclusivity in the fashion world, but if this season’s swimwear offerings are any indication I feel like we’re well on our way!
I’m sharing my top picks here! Many of these are pre-order/ waitlisted so if you want ’em get ’em while they’re hot! And if you need sizing help or fit tips, check out my first swimwear post, The Ultimate Guide to Plus-Size Swimwear Shopping.
This season Eloquii launched their first ever swim collection and broke the internet. Many of the swimsuits on their site aren’t even for sale yet and waiting lists are growing by the minute. I am loving so many of their designs. But possibly my favorite feature is one you can’t see from the outside. Nearly each design comes with underwire support! Hello! If you’ve got big breasts (as many of us plus-ladies do) a shelf bra just ain’t gonna cut it. Here is what I am loving from Eloquii (but honestly, I think they’re all winners, which is rare, I’m kinda picky!).
- Printed Criss Cross One Piece
- Flutter Sleeve Bikini Top and High Waisted Bikini Bottom with Belt
- Off the shoulder printed one piece
- Scallop Color Block Scalloped One Piece

Fashion to Figure
Fashion to Figure is also getting into the plus-size swimwear market with their first collection. I am loving their take on the classic black swimsuit.

Swimsuits for All X GabiFresh
In my previous swimwear post I applauded Gabi Fresh’s Wish bikini designed by popular plus-size style blogger Gabi Gregg. And later that month Gregg launched another collection with Swimsuits for All, this one with heavy Greek influences, lots of ruffles, blues and florals. The Athena Swimsuit, pictured, is my most favorite from the new collection.
Swimsuits for All X Ashley Graham
And no swimsuit post would be complete without mentioning the goddess that is Ashley Graham. Graham launched her first collection with Swimsuits for all last summer which had a real undercover spy, James Bond aesthetic.
This season she took it to another level and launched two collections, one released in early Spring and the other released in late April. The first collection is inspired by the colors and prints of Puerto Rico. The second collection is tough yet glamorous, overtly sensual and inspired by Asian cultures.
My only complaint with Graham’s collections is that many of the suits don’t contain underwire support which is a tough sell for me. But I still can’t help but take in all the glory that is Ashley Graham.
Also note, Graham’s swimsuits are sized from 4-22, which means lots of different sized bodies can get in on the fun.
If you can go without underwire, give it a try. Swimsuits for All is my go-to swim destination and has great customer service with no hassle returns.
And for your viewing pleasure I’ll just leave you with this…lawd baby Jesus!
Now get in that suit and hit the beach!

Happy sewing and styling and SHOPPING!
